Sustainability of our production

Our production-facilities here in Dresden are situated in a building which is 160 years old. 2006 we reconstructed this building under ecological aspects. We are working with green electricity from regenerative energy sources, provided by Lichtblick, the gas heating-system is supported by solar-collectors from Solifer and a wood-fired stove. We collect the rainwater to reuse it in the toilets and to water the garden.

Our products will be produced according the latest standards from contaminant-free materials. The sophisticated design allows long-lasting operation for many years. Everything can be repaired. At the end of the life span the devices can be returned to us- we look after the proper recycling. The packaging exists to nearly 100% of cardboard and is likewise recycleable.

Strato is hosting our homepage with water-power from NaturEnergie AG .

The parcel-services DHL and UPS are shipping our parcels carbon-neutral.

DHL offsets the transport-emissions by reinvesting in certified carbon management programs such as alternative fuel vehicle technology, solar panels and reforestation projects.

UPS purchases certified carbon (CO2) credits to give you a way to offset the emissions produced by the transportation of your shipments. UPS has supported projects that include reforestation, landfill gas destruction, wastewater treatment, and methane destruction.

This is for the time being our small contribution.

Economical work with our machines

The energy consumption of our devices is minimal. They work with 24 V DC. These DC-motors offer a maximum torque with  small power consumption. There is also the possibility to use our machines easily with solar power.

Due to the reasonable prices of our products they are very popular in developing countries. The reliable and long-lasting technology gives small farmers and food producers economic independence from big concerns and allows them regional direct-marketing and / or the direct-export to the industrial countsies. A bis step to fair prices.

Certainly, German, European and North-American direct-sellers and small producers are also appreciating our reliable technology. One requirement for the establishment of regional economic cycles.
